Coaching football does not necessarily means that you should be a National Team player, since not all national team players turned coaches are successful.
A coach must however have played the game to a certain extend and have acquired a certain experience and the opportunity to demonstrate to his players and will command high level of respect.
As coaches, we are able to experience the up’s and down’s in the glory of the championship, the challenge of our noble profession is to develop and implement training programs that keep long-term goals as a target, but allow for short-term improvement and flexibility as we train our teams game to game.
Programs such as these are designed through trial and error, and credence has to be given to experienced coaches who have developed and refined their program over the years.
However, daring to implement your coaching ideas, through creativity, systems of tactics and techniques could enhance the coach to add value to his training program and to his players.
