DRILL OF THE WEEK - WARM UP
20 MINUTES

Conditioning without ball: 6 cones in a shape of a boat, 20 yards apart,
Drill 1: A to B walk, B to C dribble, C to D sprint, D to E walk, E to F dribble, F to E sprint

Drill 2: A to B walk, B to C dribble, C to D spring and back, D to E walk, E to F dribble, F to E spring and back. 8 times on the row before taking a rest to the next drill

Variation: You can use this drill with the ball as well



15 MINUTES
Passing and Moving to Position: 8 x 8 yard, 3 Players passing the ball and exchanging positions. Player A passes to B and C runs and faces him to receive the ball. The players change in unexpected direction. Players without the ball must run to space to receive the ball. Coaching Point: To play as a UNIT, concentration is the main factor of this drill. Drill 4 to 6 Mins


25 MINUTES

Small Side Game
4 v 4, with 2 wingers as serving to take the final shoot, cross, pull out etc…. Once a team scores you change the loosing team but no more than 6 Mins. play at one time
Coaching Point: The wingers should follow the playing teams and have a vision to pass in order to give a good shoot opportunity with a quick reaction. 20  to 30 Mins. Drill

WARM UP!
 
 

Warm-up as it relates to the game of football is an anatomical and physiological preparation of the body toward excellent performance of the body functions.

Coaches should assign the warm-ups to a knowledgeable  trainer / person or at least to conduct it in a proper manner in order to reap the benefits of the warm-ups for the best performance of players.

The warm-up stage is about 20 minutes exercise involving follow: Flexing, Loosening, Stretching, Strengthening
